How to Go Plastic Free with Your Cleaning
This article is part of a series of super easy ways to reduce your single use plastic consumption while reaping a whole bunch of other benefits. Our philosophy on plastic is simple – reduce the use. Which is why we only sell completely plastic-free products like our luxury beach towel line. Together, we can make informed choices on avoiding unnecessary plastic use to help prevent it from ending up in the ocean.
We just got our third refill of for our Blueland starter kit and it's awesome. They ship you a set of spray bottles along with these magic little tabs. Just add water to the tabs and enjoy the frantic fizzing that turns your ordinary tap H2O into a bottle full of cleaning product.
The kit included glass cleaner, bathroom cleaner, multi-surface cleaner and hand soap. Each time we run out, the only thing we have to order are the small tabs that dissolve in water - we reuse the spray bottles. It's genius.
From the Blueland website:
"We believe that you can have it all in your everyday products. No sacrifices, no compromise. Our products are effective, convenient, safe for use, affordable and sourced from environmentally responsible ingredients. Before, during and after we launch our products, we’re constantly innovating to identify the latest methods to better meet these standards. And being the first to offer products in these revolutionary formats and with over 40 patents pending, we’re only just getting started."
Two big high fives to Blueland for creating a great product with a huge potential impact!
