Recycled plastic still sheds.
Synthetic fibers — even recycled ones — shed microplastics in the wash. Those microplastics end up in the ocean we're trying to protect. Hemp and organic cotton are the only fibers that don't add to the problem we're solving.

Hemp
One of the most sustainable plant fibers in the world. Requires almost no pesticides, herbicides, or water to grow.
Organic cotton
Grown without synthetic chemicals or genetic modification. Blended with hemp for softness without sacrificing absorbency.
OEKO-TEX standard dyes
Free from harmful chemicals at every stage of production. Safe against skin, safe in the wash.
Stainless steel
Powder-coated for durability without plastic linings. Recyclable indefinitely without quality loss.
Silicone
Food-grade O-ring for a leak-proof seal. Inert, durable, and chemically stable across temperature ranges.

We manage the full lifecycle of every product, and we say so plainly. Some practices in our supply chain still fall short of where we want them. We are working to change that, and to hold our partners to the same standard. Removing plastic from the ocean is not a quick win. We are in it for the long haul.

Every year we plant trees and buy wind and solar power to offset our shipments, then cover the rest with verified carbon credits.

Our packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials, down to the water-based adhesive on the tape. No plastic, start to finish.

Independently audited.
Every manufacturer in our supply chain will be certified by a third-party auditor — WRAP, SGS, BCSI, or SMETA. We're working toward full coverage across our partner network.
Low-water by default.
All of our fibers will come from low-water raw plants like hemp and flax, eliminating cotton's water footprint from our supply chain entirely.
