Designed with Intention, Made to Last

Plastic pollution is a direct result of human impact. We're building toward a world where the ocean isn't paying the price.

100% of Profits Go Toward Removing Plastic From the Oceans

The Lifecycle

Designed for what happens next.

Most brands tell you where their materials come from. We tell you the full story: where the fibers are grown, who weaves them, how the towel gets to you, and what happens when you're done with it. Full transparency, every step.

01
The Start

Grown responsibly.

We start with low-water plants — hemp and flax — that need little to no pesticides or herbicides to thrive.

02
The Build

Made with intention.

Manufactured in facilities held to fair labor and environmental standards. Packaged in recycled cardboard, never plastic.

03
The Life

Built to last.

Built to outlast the trend cycle. Gets softer with every wash, not weaker.

04
The Return

Send it back.

When your towel reaches the end of its life, send it back. We recycle it into something new.

Why Not Recycled Plastic?

Recycled plastic still sheds.

Synthetic fibers — even recycled ones — shed microplastics in the wash. Those microplastics end up in the ocean we're trying to protect. Hemp and organic cotton are the only fibers that don't add to the problem we're solving.

What We Do With Recovered Plastic

We don't make things from it.

We partner with organizations converting recovered ocean plastic into energy and construction materials — uses where it can't shed back into the water. Our research stays ongoing. We refuse to rob Peter to pay Paul.

The Materials

What we actually use.

Five materials across every product we make. Nothing aspirational, nothing borrowed from a marketing deck — only what's actually in your hands when the box arrives.

Hemp

Towels · Tote

One of the most sustainable plant fibers in the world. Requires almost no pesticides, herbicides, or water to grow.

Organic cotton

Towels

Grown without synthetic chemicals or genetic modification. Blended with hemp for softness without sacrificing absorbency.

OEKO-TEX standard dyes

Towels

Free from harmful chemicals at every stage of production. Safe against skin, safe in the wash.

Stainless steel

Water bottle

Powder-coated for durability without plastic linings. Recyclable indefinitely without quality loss.

Silicone

Water bottle seal

Food-grade O-ring for a leak-proof seal. Inert, durable, and chemically stable across temperature ranges.

No recycled plastic. No synthetic blends. No shortcuts.

Sustainable Products and Our Sustainability Initiatives

We manage the full lifecycle of every product, and we say so plainly. Some practices in our supply chain still fall short of where we want them. We are working to change that, and to hold our partners to the same standard. Removing plastic from the ocean is not a quick win. We are in it for the long haul.

Build to Last

Our products are made to outlast the trend cycle. The longer a towel stays in use, the less gets made, and the less gets thrown away.

Manufacture Responsibly

We partner only with manufacturers held to a high ethical code for labor and environmental conduct.

Offset Carbon Emissions

Every year we plant trees and buy wind and solar power to offset our shipments, then cover the rest with verified carbon credits.

Use Sustainable Packaging

Our packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials, down to the water-based adhesive on the tape. No plastic, start to finish.

Commitments

Where we are, where we're headed.

What we've achieved, and what we're working toward, kept separate so you can see exactly where each one stands.

Where We Are
01
Achieved

Carbon neutral.

We offset 100% of our shipping emissions and operational footprint through verified carbon credit partners. Every towel that ships from Boston ships carbon neutral.

02
Certified

B Corp certified.

We meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Maintained through B Lab's recertification process.

Where We're Headed
03
In Progress

Independently audited.

Every manufacturer in our supply chain will be certified by a third-party auditor — WRAP, SGS, BCSI, or SMETA. We're working toward full coverage across our partner network.

04
In Progress

Low-water by default.

All of our fibers will come from low-water raw plants like hemp and flax, eliminating cotton's water footprint from our supply chain entirely.
